The following Terms & Conditions govern the sale of products by Groovy Computers. By submitting an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
Groovy Computers may update, modify, or replace these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice, at its sole discretion. The version in effect at the time of your order will apply to that order, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Products, configurations, and pricing displayed on our website are advertisements inviting offers to purchase and are not guaranteed offers to sell. All orders are subject to review, verification, availability, and acceptance by Groovy Computers.
An order confirmation, payment receipt, or automated email does not constitute acceptance of your order or confirmation of an offer to sell. Groovy Computers reserves the right to accept, decline, cancel, or limit an order for any reason, including but not limited to payment concerns, suspected fraud, product availability, pricing errors, configuration concerns, shipping limitations, or verification requirements.
Acceptance of an order is confirmed only when Groovy Computers provides shipping confirmation. All orders must be approved using an acceptable payment method before shipment occurs.
We may request additional information, identification, address confirmation, payment verification, or other documentation before accepting or processing an order.
All prices listed on Groovy Computers are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and do not include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Prices do not include shipping, handling, insurance, delivery services, customs charges, tariffs, or other applicable fees unless specifically noted.
Product pricing, specifications, promotions, availability, product images, and configuration options may change without notice. The price charged for an accepted order will generally be the price displayed at the time the order was placed, subject to correction of errors or inaccuracies.
Groovy Computers makes reasonable efforts to ensure that information on its website, advertisements, listings, flyers, and social media pages is accurate. However, we do not guarantee that information is free from errors, omissions, misprints, outdated details, supplier inaccuracies, or technical issues.
If a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information, Groovy Computers reserves the right to correct the error, refuse, cancel, or terminate the affected order. This may apply even if an order has been confirmed, paid for, or charged to a credit card. Where payment has been collected for a cancelled order, an appropriate refund or credit will be issued to the original payment method.
The buyer is responsible for all applicable charges associated with their purchase, including but not limited to shipping, handling, delivery, insurance, sales taxes, customs duties, tariffs, brokerage fees, and other applicable charges.
Processing time varies by payment method, order complexity, parts availability, special-order requirements, verification requirements, and build queue volume. Most verified orders are processed within approximately 2 business days; however, custom PC orders may require additional time for assembly, testing, benchmarking, quality control, and packaging.
Delivery dates, courier estimates, and tracking updates are estimates only. Groovy Computers is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, customs, payment verification, supply shortages, incorrect address information, refused delivery, or events outside our reasonable control.
All sales are final. Orders cannot be cancelled once payment, deposit, financing approval, order processing, parts reservation, assembly, testing, or special-order procurement has begun.
All deposits are strictly non-refundable. Deposits are applied toward the agreed purchase and may be used to reserve inventory, secure special-order components, begin assembly, configure a custom system, or cover administrative and processing costs.
Parts purchased separately are covered directly by the original manufacturer’s warranty after sale, where applicable. Groovy Computers may assist with warranty guidance when possible, but warranty eligibility, approval, replacement, repair, and turnaround time remain subject to the manufacturer’s own terms and processes.
Eligible complete custom PCs include a 1-year Groovy Computers warranty, subject to the applicable warranty terms, exclusions, troubleshooting requirements, and claim procedures. After the Groovy Computers warranty period, individual components may continue to be covered by applicable manufacturer warranties, commonly ranging from 3 to 10 years, depending on the component and manufacturer.
Modifications & Warranty Coverage
The warranty is subject to certain conditions. Unauthorized modifications, alterations, hardware changes, software changes, physical tampering, liquid damage, improper installation, overclocking beyond approved settings, or incompatible upgrades may affect or void warranty coverage where they cause or contribute to a system malfunction or failure.
This may include, without limitation, changes to storage drives, RAM, cooling systems, graphics cards, power supplies, BIOS settings, operating systems, drivers, or other system components. We understand that upgrades are common and will reasonably work with customers to identify the cause of an issue; however, changes made after delivery can sometimes create instability, compatibility problems, or component damage.
Assessment of Modifications
If a malfunction occurs following a modification or upgrade, Groovy Computers may assess the system to determine the root cause. If the modification directly caused or contributed to the issue, warranty coverage for that issue may be denied or terminated.
Customers are strongly encouraged to contact Groovy Computers before making hardware or software changes that may affect compatibility, system stability, or warranty eligibility.
Customer Conduct
Groovy Computers is committed to providing professional and respectful service. Warranty support may be suspended or terminated where a customer engages in threatening, abusive, harassing, fraudulent, defamatory, or otherwise inappropriate conduct toward Groovy Computers, its staff, or its representatives, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Packaging & Shipping for Warranty Claims
Warranty claims requiring shipment must use the original packaging, internal foam, inserts, GPU support materials, and other protective materials supplied with the system whenever available. Improper packaging may result in shipping damage that is not covered by Groovy Computers.
Damage that occurs during shipping to or from the customer is not covered unless otherwise confirmed in writing. Customers are responsible for packaging returned products safely and following any return instructions provided by Groovy Computers.
Warranty Claims & Support
For warranty claims, troubleshooting assistance, or questions regarding upgrades and compatibility, contact Groovy Computers before attempting repairs, modifications, or returns. We are here to help identify the issue and guide you through the appropriate next steps.
Groovy Computers assembles and tests gaming PCs for functionality, stability, temperature performance, and benchmarking. Any software installed before delivery is used only for system testing, drivers, benchmarking, stress testing, and quality-control purposes.
Groovy Computers is not responsible for game bans, anti-cheat bans, account restrictions, platform suspensions, software bans, or service restrictions relating to hardware or software use after purchase. Our testing and benchmarking procedures are not intended to, and should not, cause game bans.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Groovy Computers’ maximum liability relating to a product purchased from Groovy Computers shall not exceed the purchase price paid for that specific product.
Groovy Computers shall not be liable for property damage, personal injury, loss of use, loss of data, business interruption, loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of opportunity, replacement costs, incidental damages, indirect damages, consequential damages, punitive damages, or special damages, regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based, including warranty, contract, negligence, tort, strict liability, or otherwise.
Certain jurisdictions may not allow the exclusion or limitation of some damages. Where applicable law restricts a limitation in these Terms, that limitation will apply only to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Title to physical products purchased from Groovy Computers passes to the customer when the product is shipped. Title to copyrighted software, digital content, documentation, and licensed materials remains with the applicable licensor, copyright holder, or rights holder.
These Terms & Conditions shall be interpreted and governed in accordance with the applicable federal laws of Canada and the applicable laws of the Province of Nova Scotia, without giving effect to conflict of law principles.
Headings are used for convenience only and do not affect the meaning or interpretation of these Terms & Conditions.
Any additional or altered terms attached to an order are void unless expressly agreed to in writing by Groovy Computers. These Terms & Conditions may not be modified, amended, or altered except in writing by an authorized representative of Groovy Computers.
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be illegal, invalid, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
This agreement may not be assigned by the customer without written authorization from Groovy Computers. If there is any conflict between these Terms & Conditions and other information relating to a purchase, these Terms & Conditions will take precedence unless otherwise agreed to in writing by Groovy Computers.
