Important Compatibility Notes

• The included MSI motherboard uses DDR5 RAM only . DDR4 memory is not compatible.
• The i9-12900K and motherboard are both Intel LGA1700 products and are compatible together.
• A CPU cooler is not included . The i9-12900K can draw substantial power under heavy workloads, so a high-quality dual-tower air cooler or 240mm / 360mm liquid cooler is strongly recommended.
• CPU multiplier overclocking is supported with this Z790 motherboard, appropriate cooling, and a quality power supply.
• HDMI and DisplayPort outputs on the motherboard can be used with the i9-12900K because it includes Intel UHD Graphics 770. A dedicated graphics card is recommended for gaming and demanding creative workloads.
