Important Compatibility Notes
- The included MSI motherboard uses DDR5 RAM only . DDR4 is not compatible.
- The i9-12900K and MSI PRO Z790-S WIFI are both Intel LGA1700 products and are fully compatible together.
- A CPU cooler is not included . The i9-12900K can draw significant power under sustained workloads, so a high-quality dual-tower air cooler or 240mm / 360mm liquid cooler is strongly recommended.
- CPU overclocking is supported through the Z790 chipset when paired with adequate cooling and a quality power supply.
- The i9-12900K includes Intel UHD Graphics 770, so the motherboard HDMI and DisplayPort outputs can be used without a dedicated graphics card.
- DDR5 XMP profiles may need to be enabled in BIOS to achieve the rated speed of compatible memory kits.
- Case, CPU cooler, DDR5 RAM, graphics card, SSD/HDD, power supply, operating system, monitor, and other PC parts are not included unless specifically pictured or stated in this listing.
